The Sculpture: A full size bronze of Pegasus, adapted and sculpted by John Cox (www.bronzemasters.co.uk) from the famous Powerscourt Estate winged horse, originally cast in Berlin in 1869, which was in turn inspired by a much earlier Italian work of art. Beautiful examples can still to be seen as part of the centre piece to the magnificent Italianate gardens of the Powerscourt Estate at Enniskerry, in the Republic of Ireland, a fitting background for these stunning sculptures.
